Sabrina Hummel - a brilliant interpreter with romantic profundity and cultivated playing manner. The immediacy of the gallant playing and the sensitive shaping of this internalized piano playing could probably not escape anyone.

Topic: Piano solo

... In both compositions she excellently played out what makes the fascination of these romantics: pearly clarity of the arpeggios and runs, plastic, melodic lines, ... Full of ideas, she brought in rich moments of shaping with moving tempi, because pianistically there were no deficiencies, which is why Sabrina Hummel completely enthused her public.

Topic: Piano 4 hands

With the original works of the Slavonic and Spanish Dances by Dvorak and Moszkowski, the two hit exactly the lifeblood of this weightless lightness. They approached the selection of these collections with weightless ease and grace, with verve and meticulousness. The suppleness of the soft and very round legato lines in the third Spanish dance would be hard to beat in terms of pearly fluency. Technically, both acted with great solidity - with constant rotation of upper and lower voices - and tonally with expressivity and flexibility. The excellent piano duo, however, emphasized the melodic finesses with creative emphasis; it was rhythmically synchronous and accurate to the point.

Topic: Voice & Piano

The constant leap through the centuries, genres and genres always succeeded seamlessly for the two performers: whether in the baroque style with harpsichord accompaniment, in the musical version with a jazzy touch ("My Fair Lady," "West Side Story" or "Anatevka") or in the tone of the Swedish pop group ABBA with "Money, Money" - the great stylistic range and versatility of the duo, who come from the Mainz area, were always convincing. The singer has a very modulative, slender, pure and naturally flowing voice, which she also subtly tuned to the respective style. But the exceptional pianist was also able to precisely pick up, paraphrase and harmonize every musical style - whether concertante or entertaining. Whether chordal underpainting and support or figurative embellishment or virtuoso playing around text units: She always fascinated with high technical playing and improvisational skills. With this creatively designed evening of songs, the duo left the well-trodden paths of purely concertante, repetitive arrangement and replaced them with new sparkling ideas.
